In 2013, Rocky founded the Romo Group to help Atlanta heal after the “Great Recession.” With the help of real estate entrepreneurs and regional start-ups such as the Romo Group, Atlanta experienced an economic renaissance thanks in large part to the transitioning of less-valued properties into profitable assets.
In the midst of this expansion cycle, solid economic upturn and job growth, new opportunities began to present themselves as Atlanta became an increasingly attractive destination for highly educated millennials. The urbanism trend spurred a multifamily sector boom, especially in hot markets like Midtown and Buckhead and big corporate names began to either move to or expand in Atlanta.
Coupled with growing trends in the commercial real estate industry toward a more customer-centric (or tenant-centric) strategy to help improve returns reshaped the property landscape. Growth was exceeding expectations and businesses now required special help to expand into and navigate within the region’s explosive market forces and changing landscapes.
The Romo Group addressed this need by transitioning into a single source brokerage and development real estate company catering specifically to restaurant/retail companies looking to build, invest and expand into the Georgia market.

Rocky currently lives in Milton, Georgia with his lovely wife, Alana and two wonderful boys, Wesley & William. He is an avid outdoorsman sharing that love of the great outdoors with his family and friends. Born and raised in Georgia, he gives back to his church and community on a regular basis.
